It’s been almost a year since we are hearing about a deal between Apple inc. and Verizon Wireless. All such rumours stated that Verizon is going to be the new partner of Apple and is going to launch iPhones in future.

Claims similar to these started to occur even more frequently when iPhone 4 was launched. Earlier this week both the parties have denied any such agreements; though the CEO of Verizon Wireless talked about iPhone in one of his interviews.

According to him, the company is really interested in signing a deal but both the companies have certain reservations which are not enabling them to draft the final agreement.

The famous ‘Wall Street Journal’ is the one which recently posted another article on Verizon’s iPhone. It has published the complete detail of the agreement, claiming that all the information in it has come from a very reliable source and is definitely true.

Amongst all the details, one features mentioned in the article really struck everyone. WSJ stated that Verizon’s iPhone would be based on the new CDMA technology rather than the GSM (which was used by the previous partners of Apple inc. – AT&T).

If all this is true, this is certainly good news for all the current and potential iPhone buyers. In the end of the article, WSJ has left its readers perplexed; it has not quoted any confirmation from the officials of any company.

We hope that the secret behind this rumor would soon be disclosed, ending all the confusion caused by all sort of rumours.
