The 2010 BET awards ceremony was filled with emotions when Chris Brown stirred the nostalgic chords of the audience. Chris could not control his emotions when he paid tribute to Michael Jackson who died a year ago.
The awards ceremony glittered with the stars on Sunday night when Chris, Eminem, and Alicia entered the Shrine Auditorium. He paid homage to pop legend Michael Jackson and it proved to be one of the most memorable sentimental performance.
People also burst into tears when they listened to Michael’s songs which stirred the gloomy feelings in the crowd. He was in a dress which symbolically resembled that of Jackson. He wore high waist pants and bandaged fingertips. He sang the medley which comprised of bits and pieces of Michael’s songs such as “Remember the Time” and “Billie Jean”.
The crowd got emotional and many were having tears in their eyes. He broke down many times and could not sing with continuity when his eyes filled with tears and he was rather “crying” during his performance. The gaps in his singing were filled by the audience.
Chris, who had been nominated for Best Male R&B Artist and simulated every “MJ” move while dancing, was singing with a heavy heart and uncontrollable gloom.

I cried with him. everyone that was around said he’s not a real man for crying the way he did on tv but i don’t see anything wrong with it.
