After serving almost a year in prison and coming out on parole, you would expect T.I to learn his lesson, but that isn’t the case. He was arrested along with his wife Tiny, for carrying several prohibited and illicit substances.

The couple which holds the record of appearing on the maximum number of reality shows was transporting ‘Sizzurp’ along with other drugs. They also had marijuana in the car when sheriffs checked it for drugs.

‘Sizzurp’ is a combination drug made by adding codeine cough syrup to soda. Since its introduction several artists, especially from the hip-hop culture have fallen for it. They use it on regular basis and are adversely affected by its side affects. Pimp C, a rap artist even lost his life to the overdose of this drug.

‘Sizzurp’ is purple in color and is used with several sodas such as sprite and 7-up. Doctors believe that the use of this drug causes extreme weakness and respiratory problems; symptoms which are found almost in every rapper in town.

All these artists have been criticized in the past for using this drug. Media and numerous organizations believe that government should immediately take strict measures to stop its consumption at such a large scale.

The problem with this drug is that until it is mixed, it is not illegal. That means that authorities can’t arrest a person for carrying a cough syrup or a bottle of soda. Several suggestions have been given by organizations all over United States to solve this issue. Well, it seems that the best solution to curb this social evil is that these rap stars should take a step and give up the use of ‘Sizzurp’.
