Transparency International is a global body that works as a civil society organization. The main objective of Transparency International is to identify the corrupt sectors in the world through the world wide survey and to do the efforts in making a change towards a corruption free world.
The Transparency International has released its survey 2010 called CPI (Corruption Perception Index) in which it ranked, analyzed and compared the corrupted countries on the basis of information provided by globally centralized and authentic bodies of the countries.
The report of Transparency International reports has revealed the list of corrupt countries and Somalia is leading the list followed by Afghanistan Myanmar and Iraq.
Out of total 187 countries surveyed by Transparency International nearly three quarters lower down on the index. The survey of Transparency International is based on 13 different surveys conducted between January 2009 and September 2010 from different business groups and government bodies.
Transparency has revealed that Pakistan has gained the corruption points and lowered down their rank to 34th corrupt country in the world and India and Bangladesh are better ratings than Pakistan.
On the other side, United States of America has also raised the corruption level and moved from 159th place to 156th place.
Denmark is the least corrupt country in the world followed by New Zealand, Singapore and Finland, Sweden and Canada.
Well, the countries that have been declared as the corrupt countries in the world are raising questions on the Transparency International but the company is determined to work to know the world and countries about their corruption status in the world.
